LCMC Announces New Role For Sterling

LCMC announced that Terrie Sterling will be transitioning out of her role as Interim CEO for UMC to Executive Director, Strategic Initiatives.  Her primary focus in this role will be to bring the strategic vision and blueprint of NCI designation to actualization.  Her work will also include specific planning to integrate the cancer program into a system service line, supporting implementation of clinical standards, and establishing a communication process to report progress. Additionally, Sterling will lead the integration of the three Tulane University hospitals into to the LCMC Health. Terrie joined UMC in the middle of a pandemic and did an extraordinary job leading her team through a devastating hurricane.
