Leading Change through Board/Committee Appointments Panel Discussion

 

On November 17, 2014, at the Future of Nursing: Campaign for Action's Leadership and Legacy Summit in Phoenix, Arizona, three panelists discussed how nurses can lead change through board/committee appointments in a conversation facilitated by Sue Hassmiller, senior adviser for nursing at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and director of the Future of Nursing: Campaign for Action.

The panelists were: Sam Meckey, senior vice president, population health management, Optum Shared Services; Terrie Sterling, chief operating officer, Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center; and Alexis Stiles, practice leader, Spencer Stuart Healthcare Services Practice.
